I've often said that my superpower is finding typos. Hit me with your manuscript and I'll make sure you can go to press with confidence that your book meets your style guide's needs. Whether it's your resume, the program book for your upcoming festival, or your new manuscript, I'm happy to lend my superpower to your cause.
With 30+ years of wriring/editing experience and a lifetime of lived experience in the margins of sex, sexuality, gender, faith, and accessibility, I'm available to read and comment on your scripts, manuscripts, marketing materials, and more. SOCIAL MEDIA & PR
As an independent artist, I've developed a host of practices to maximize the attention my projects receive in the press and in social media. I've been a vigilant promoter for many of Baltimore's arts institutions, including the Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture, Charm City Kitty Club, the Transmodern Festival, Video Americain, Beyond Video, the Maryland Film Festival, and Wide Angle Youth Media.
Whether crafting a proposal from whole cloth or refining an existing draft, I'm excited to help you raise your much-needed funds.
As a freelance development consultant, I helped many organizations raise funds for their programming and capital campaigns across all fundraising channels: corporate, foundation, government, and individual giving. In 2016 alone, I helped to raise nearly $1 million all together for arts organizations in Baltimore and D.C. Current and past clients have included Wide Angle Youth Media, FORCE, Venus Theater, and the Maryland Film Festival.
